Conditions
The guarantee applies to systems installed by Precision Aqua.
Pre-filters must be changed according to the volume of water the system has processed. The change volume for each pre-filter is set when we design your system and given to you in writing at installation. Your controller’s flow meter records the volume.
If pre-filters are not changed at the stated volumes, the guarantee is void.
Pre-filter changes carried out under a Precision Aqua service plan automatically meet this condition.
Your incoming supply. The pipework that brings water to the system is the client’s responsibility. Our systems, including any booster pump, draw water from that supply, and older supplies, particularly lead or small-bore pipes, can be damaged by negative pressure (vacuum). To the extent the law allows, Precision Aqua is not liable for damage to the client’s incoming water main or supply pipework, including damage caused by negative pressure.
Damage caused by frost, misuse, or repairs or modifications made by anyone other than Precision Aqua is not covered.
Consumable parts with a finite life, including pre-filter cartridges and DI resin, are not covered.
Poor output caused by a change in your incoming water quality, pressure or flow after installation is not covered.
If something goes wrong
Tell us promptly. If the fault is covered, we repair or replace the faulty part with no charge for parts, labour or travel.
If we find the fault was caused by user error, by changes to the control system’s software settings, or by modifications to the hardware, it is not covered. We then charge travel, and on-site labour to diagnose and repair it, at £135 per hour.
