Who we are

Precision Aqua is a trading name of Aquatic Installation & Maintenance Limited, registered in England with company number 12181301, registered office Unit 13c Southend Road, Rettendon Common, Chelmsford, CM3 8EB. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at hello@precisionaqua.co.uk or on 0800 772 0861.

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, business name, email address, phone number, sector, daily water use, water source, site postcode, the buying options you are interested in, and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Customers: contact details for the people we deal with, site address, order and payment records, and service records such as water test results and flow meter readings.
• Emails and calls: what you send us and our replies.
• Website use: basic technical information such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, collected through our website statistics tools.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
• To supply, install, guarantee and service your system and to invoice you: performing our contract with you.
• To keep financial and service records: complying with our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in being able to deal with guarantee claims and disputes.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it: our legitimate interest in running the website well.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing to you unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed with the companies that help us run the business: our website host (Bluehost), our email provider, website statistics providers, our accountants, and laboratories that test water samples (which receive sample and site details, not more than they need). We may also share it where the law requires, for example with HMRC.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years from our last contact.
• Customer, order and service records: for as long as we look after your system, and then 6 years after our last contract with you ends.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, email hello@precisionaqua.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technology that are needed for it to work and keep it secure, and statistics tools that tell us how many people visit and which pages they view. Videos on our site are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set cookies until you play a video; once you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
